Ultimate beneficial owners: legal entities have until October 11 to submit information to the Unified State Register
Ultimate beneficial owner is a citizen (physical person), who actually influences the work of the company and gets material benefit from it.There are two types of such owners: persons who directly or through third parties own more than 25% in the authorized capital of the company.
Information about beneficiaries all legal entities, including public organizations and charitable foundations. Do not submit: political parties, trade unions, their associations, employers' organizations, bar associations, chambers of commerce and industry, condominiums, religious organizations, state agencies, local authorities, state and municipal enterprises, institution and organizations.
Where to submit information on ultimate beneficial owner:
1) to the state registrar through the administrative services center;
2) Upon performance of a separate registration action.
For failure to submit or late submission to the state registrar of information on the ultimate beneficial owner or its absence or documents to confirm the information on the ultimate beneficial owner of the legal entity a penalty of UAH 17000 to UAH 51000 is stipulated.
